Mildred Elaine Martin Jones

Mildred Elaine Martin Jones, 74, of Holiday Island, Ark., joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her heavenly home on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015. She was born Aug. 16, 1941 in Ward, Ark., the daughter of the late Floyd and Jewel Martin. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd Thomas Jones Sr.; two children, Lloyd T. Jones Jr. and wife Kathy of Rogers, Ark.s, Kay McDoniel and husband Mike of Springdale, Ark.; a sister, Helen Faulkner of Helena, Ark.; and her grandchildren, extended family, and many wonderful friends. Her sweet spirit, patience, listening heart, and strong faith will be treasured in our hearts. Her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and servant in her church is an example for us all. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 19, at the Holiday Island Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Ward officiating.
