Carolyn Lee Burkes

Carolyn Lee Burkes, 66, passed away December 9, 2015. She was born on February 17, 1949 in Russellville, Indiana to George Morris and the late Wanda (Downs) Morris. She was the wife of the late Wilbert Lee Burkes Sr. She was an avid writer and wrote some amazing poems. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, husband, and two siblings. She is survived by her father, George Morris of Helena, Arkansas; son, Wilbert Lee Burkes, Jr. and wife, Kimberly of Mississippi; daughter, Jennifer Carol Eubanks of Rogers; two brothers, three sisters, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 11-12 noon in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, with service to follow at 12 noon. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
