Priscilla Deanna Humbard

Priscilla Deane Humbard, 89, of Rogers transitioned to Heaven peacefully on December 9, 2015 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born June 19, 1926 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Clayton and Lena Mae Richardson. Priscilla was a retired senior administrative assistant, concert harpist and a beloved mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dick Richardson and sister, Linda Richardson. Priscilla is survived by her daughter, Susanna Humbard Rongey and granddaughters, Jessamyn and Abigale Rongey, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as her sister, Donna Hollingsworth, of Dresden, Texas. Priscilla was a member of the original Humbard family singers and was well-known for playing a multitude of instruments including the piano, organ and harp. She was also one of the co-founders of Calvary Temple Church in Youngstown, Ohio where she balanced raising a family with the demands of being on television nightly. In her later years, Priscilla enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. She lived her life to serve others and loved sharing her faith. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 12th at 11 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church chapel in Rogers with Reverend Jim Keith officiating. The family prefers casual dress with bright colors and no black as this is a celebration of her life. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association or the Willard Walker Hospice House. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home.
