Michael E. Harris

Michael E. Harris, age 66, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Friday December 4, 2015. He was born June 11, 1949 in Elkins, Arkansas to Bob and Laverne London Meyers. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a combat Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked at Skelton Motors, PAM Transportation and J.B. Hunt for 13 years. He is survived by his wife Tammy; two daughters, Heather Nichole Langston and her husband Rob of Springdale; Michaela Harris of Springdale; one son, Mike Harris and his wife Deborah of Bentonville, Arkansas; mother, Laverne Goble of Elkins; one sister, Darlene Hankins and her husband Bud of Elkins; one brother, Ward Harris and his wife Debbie of Elkins; six grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rob, Matt, Wyatt, Devin and Matthew. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday December 8, 2015 Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel.
