Othel G Sharp

Othel G. Sharp, age 88, of Springdale, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 in Springdale. He was born June 26, 1927 in Lavaca, Ark., the son of Emery and Ola Gann Sharp. He was retired from life insurance sales and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He enjoyed playing golf throughout his life and served in the United States Navy during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ethel Moss Sharp; three daughters, Deborah Bowman and her husband Bill of Dallas, Texas, Pam Smith and her husband Bob of Rogers and Lisa Brady and her husband Kevin of Springdale; seven grandsons, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen McNabb of Tulsa, Okla. Visitation will be 12 p.m., noon on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at Moore's Chapel followed by a service at 1 p.m. There will be a private family burial at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
