Jonathan Scott Lusk

Jonathan Scott Lusk, 61 of Springdale passed away Dec. 2, 2015 in Little Rock, Ark. from an acute critical illness. He was born May 12, 1954 in Elmhurst, Ill., to Robert Reuben Lusk and Joana Ruth Webb. He moved with his family to Mountain Home, Ark. He lived in Fayetteville and Springdale for the last 40 years. Jonathan graduated from Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas with a degree in Agriculture/Animal Science. He continued his love for animals working at the Tulsa and Little Rock Zoo. He is best known for his NWA Reptile Museum. He had a real passion for sharing his love of reptiles with the community which was evident as soon as you walked through those doors. He loved serving God and in his church with his wife, which also brought him great happiness. Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Spicer Lusk of the home and her children Lori Love of Springdale, David Graham of Bentonville, and Michael Graham of Idaho Falls; One sister, Ruthanne Lusk Whitehead with her husband Mark of Bentonville and their daughter Tiffany; Two brothers, Randy Lusk with his wife Francie of Hot Springs Village and his children Robbie and Christie and Kevin Lusk with his wife Corrinne of Sheridan and his two sons Brently and William. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 6738 Lynch's Prairie Ct., Springdale, Ark. 72762 with Bishop David Atherton officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
