John Malcolm (Johnny) Miller III, age 56, formerly of Bella Vista was born in Salem, Ark. Jan. 10, 1959. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Plano, Texas on Nov. 26, 2015. John is survived by his mother Deanna Miller; sister Kathryn Anderson of Plano, Texas; brother James Miller and wife Teri Huffaker of Rome, Ga.; brother John Wesley Miller and wife Phoebe, nephews Liam Miller, Jack Pool, and niece Emelia Pool of Cabot, Ark. John was a 1977 graduate of Salem High and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1981 with a degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology. Shortly after graduation, John was sworn in as the youngest Chief Deputy Coroner for Pulaski County, Ark. John settled in NW Arkansas where his professional career included positions as, Executive Account Manager for companies including Sales Mark, Acosta, and Saputo Cheese. He primarily dealt with Wal-Mart and Sam's Club which included some international travel as well. John worked in several different positions which allowed him to see a large part of the US from Washington State to the Gulf Coast. Additionally, he provided invaluable service to his mom as the office and property manager at The Bend Realty in Horseshoe Bend, Ark. prior to her retirement. John was extremely generous and outgoing. He never met a stranger and was gracious and giving to all who knew him. His spirit and passion for life could not be equaled. John was well known for his love of animals and he cared for many rescued dogs throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. John always attended church wherever he lived and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rogers, Ark. for the many years he lived there. John will be deeply missed by his family, friends and many associates. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date in his beloved Arkansas.
