Harold Arthur Parker, 76, of Rogers passed away Sunday, November 29th. He was born April 21, 1939 in St. Joseph, Mo. to the late John Donald William Parker and Mildred M. Nelson Parker. Following graduation he proudly served in the US Army before enlisting in the US Air Force. A twin-engine rated pilot, he loved to fly, pilot his boat and the buying, restoring and selling of collectable cars. In later years he enjoyed spending time with his pets, feeding the birds and squirrels, drinking coffee and ‘solving the world's problems' at Braum's. He was also an avid fan of the Razorbacks and Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Betty. Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Patricia Parker of the home; two daughters, Terri and husband Wayne VanLaningham of Rogers, Lisa and husband Mike Walski of Springfield, Mo.; two sons, Robert and wife Dondra Parker of Lincoln and Mark Parker of Rogers; his brother, Donald Moffitt; six granddaughers, Amber, Stephanie, Kristen, Crystal, Vanessa and Ashley; six grandsons, Joshua, Steven, Justin, Christopher, Jerad and Zachary; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be Monday, December 7 from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
