Ruth Marie (Frick) Haley

Ruth Marie (Frick) Haley, 89, of Springdale passed away November 24th, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 18th, 1926 in Yale Oklahoma. She was the 8th child and last survivor of 11 children born to Walter E. and Augusta Lee Saxton Frick. Ruth was a homemaker and lived in Springdale for 54 years. She was a long time member of the Elmdale Baptist Church, T.T.T Society and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J.R. Haley (founder of local company Shiloh Tank and Erection/ Shiloh Steel Fabricators.) and granddaughter, Wyndee Haley. Ruth is survived by three sons; Ron, Chuck, and James (Jim) and their wives, Jaylon, Janet, and Tracy; eight grandchildren; Chris Haley, Church Haley, Aireal Jenkins, Oliver Haley, Braden Haley, Kalyn Haley, Damon Bivens, and Summer Vaughn; six great-grandchildren; Vesper and Nicolas Haley, Brodie and Joslyn Bivens, and Ruby and Ada Vaughn. Ruth is also survived by her caregiver of 16 years, Bonnie Gaddis and her step-sister, Gladys Geraldine "Gerry" Flager of Yale Oklahoma. A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 4th at Sisco Funeral Chapel, 705 W. Meadow St., in Springdale at 11 a.m. with Audie Long officiating.
