Ruby Arlene Richardson Price Turner

Ruby Arlene Richardson Price Turner, 76, of Westville, Okla., passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014. She was born in Roswell, N.M., June 10, 1938, to the late Emmett Lester and Maggie Belle Compton Richardson. For 50 years she was the loving wife of Jerry Wayne Price, who preceded her in death. She was a lifelong Christian who loved to write children's books and poetry, to paint, travel and collect bells. In addition to her first husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, P.E. Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Jim Turner of the home; three sons, Darryl (Pat) Price of Lowell, Robert Price and David (Deborah) Price of Texas; a stepdaughter, Debbie (Junior Holson) Arns of Oklahoma; two stepsons, Mike Turner of Oklahoma and Billy (Fonda) Turner of Texas; a brother, Doug (Sharon) Richardson of California; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be this evening in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., and the funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Word of Life Church, 808 SW 14th St., in Bentonville, with interment to follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
