Howard A. Martin

Howard A. Martin, 80, of Lowell, Ark., passed away June 25, 2014, in his home. He was born Jan. 20, 1934, in Neodesha, Kan., the son of Rufus and Addie Bath Martin. He was a construction worker and a Baptist. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Johnnie Martin. Survived by his wife, Ester Shoop Martin of the home; three children, Jimmie Martin of Fredonia, Kan., Janet Medlin of Lowell and Joan Oliphant of Cherryvale, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
