Ronald Raymond Ritter

Ronald Raymond Ritter, 79, of Fayetteville went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 26, 2014, after a battle with cancer. He was born to Lynn Hudson and Edith Card Ritter on Aug. 10, 1934, in Liberal, Kan. Ron was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Nereus during the Korean War which was permanently stationed at a submarine base in Hawaii. He was an accountant for 24 years. He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife of 17 years, Helen Egberts Ritter on Oct. 10, 2011. He is survived by his children, Ronald Lynn Ritter, Danna Jean Ritter, Michael Christopher Ritter of California, Cynthia Gaye Woolridge of Fayetteville and Christopher Jason Ritter of the home; two sisters, Linda Neighbors (Sam) of Katy, Texas, and Cynthia Parker (Bill) of Fayetteville. A gathering of friends will be held at 1724 E. Briarcliff St., in Fayetteville on Sunday, June 29, 2014, beginning at 2 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
