Thomas Leon Cox

Thomas Leon Cox, 79, of Alamo, Texas passed away June 24, 2014 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born November 1, 1934 in Winsboro, Texas to Darrell and Loviebelle (Boles) Cox. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. Prior to retirement, he was a mechanical engineer for Texas Instrument. Thomas was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Darrell Cox of Rogers; special friend, Jane Parks of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Earl Cox of Mena, Ark.; sisters, Rosemary Chisey, of Winnsboro, Texas, Derrelline Raulston, of Arlington, Texas and Carolyn Wilson of Winnsboro, Texas; and grandson, Timothy Cox. He was preceded in death by his wife Ada and two grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Zachary. A Funeral service will be held at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be Friday, June 27, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Memorials may be made to the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
