Ronald Eugene Lee Poe

Ronald Eugene Lee Poe passed away on June 19, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on Nov. 5, 1948, to Georgia Pearl and Frank Richard Poe in Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Pamela and her husband, Ronald Hughes. He is survived by his ex-wife, Dorothy Poe of Granby, Mo.; daughters, Leslie and her husband, Craig, of Grove, Okla., Melissa and her husband, Johneil Briones, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; stepchildren, Carey Stiger and husband, David, of Joplin, Mo., Bobby Sparks and wife, Racheal, of Alba, Mo., and Jeremy Smith and wife, Erica, of Webb City, Mo.; grandchildren, Kristen Keahey, Zachary Keahey, Kelsey Briones and Kylie Briones; great-aunt, Vera Cliff of Colorado Springs, Colo.; niece, Lori Conrad and her husband, Steve, of Bella Vista, Ark.; nephew, Richard Hughes of Calera, Okla.; and many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and beloved friends. Ron was a Christian and proud of it. He was a truck driver for many years and a musician throughout his life. He would say he lived a good life. He battled cancer for the last eight months and was ready to be free of his earthly body. Services will be held June 27, 2014, at noon at the Fayetteville, Ark., National Cemetery.
