Rosa Bell "Rose" Woods

Rosa Bell "Rose" Woods, age 76, passed away in her home in Rogers on June 21, 2014. She was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Hazel Valley, Ark., to Leonard and Ethel Ada (Wilson) Long. She was the beloved wife of Samuel Ellis Woods. Rose was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, but attended the Bella Vista Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her loving husband; son, Samuel Ellis Woods Jr. and wife Tonya of Centerton; daughters, Rosa Lea Zajicek and husband Bob of Bentonville, Brenda Sue Woods of Rogers, Melissa Lynn Webster and husband Todd of Little Flock; brothers, Billy Long, Bobby Long, Ronnie Long; sisters, Louise Dunham, Kay Farmer; grandchildren, Joshua Woods (Dena), Amanda Hyatt (Michael), Bo Zajicek, Jason Oxley (Tempest), Jessica Ellis, Nick Webster, Nathan Webster; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Jacob Tyler Woods. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.
