Atojan Pauline Burkhart died Sunday, June 15, 2014, along with her granddaughter, Melody Jacobson, and grandson, James Jacobson. The family was traveling home from visiting family when they were involved in a tragic accident. Atojan, better known as "Red," was born June 15, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the owner of Melody's Hotrod Tattoos and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, a member of WHOT (Wounded Heroes of Texas). She loved her grandchildren, loved reading and animals. Atojan is survived by her husband, Robert Burkhart; daughter, Diamond LaBerge of Mineral Wells, Destiny LaBerge of Azle; father, Doyle Fritch of Fayetteville, Ark.; sisters, LaDonna LaBerge of Azle, Judy King of Fayetteville, Ark., Jody Center of West Fork, Ark., Sherry Everitt of Girard, Kan., Elsie Brock of Fayetteville, Ark.; brothers, Dee Fritch of Fayetteville and Rolly Fritch of Fayetteville, Ark. Melody Rilley Jacobson, age 5, was born on June 15, 2009, in Decatur, Texas, to David Jacobson and Diamond LaBerge. She loved her family, loved to play in the park and loved animals. James Harold Jacobson, age 3, was born April 17, 2011, in Decatur, Texas; he also was born to David Jacobson and Diamond LaBerge. James loved Spiderman, playing swords and playing with cars and he loved his big sister, Melody. Melody and James loved their Memaw and PawPaw. They are survived by their parents, David and Diamond; "PawPaw" Robert Burkhart; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Atojan, Melody and James will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014, at North Side Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Annetta Cemetery. Donations may be made to Omni American, Account Number 2003498307. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
