Warren B. Lawson, Oct. 19, 1932, born in Lincoln, Neb., to Harold B. Lawson and Thelma Lawson Heiliger, joined his recently deceased daughter, Kathryn, on June 6, 2014, at Hospice Circle of Life. Warren is survived by wife, Claudia Lawson; sons, Bradley C. Lawson/Jackie of Pea Ridge, Eric B. Lawson/Rhonda of Bella Vista; grandson, Bradley C. Lawson/Christa of Lindsborg, Kan.; and two great-grandchildren, Rylee Sue and Justin. In 1950, after graduating from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Neb., Warren joined the U.S. Marines and drove a landing Duck during the Korean War. Returning home after his military service, he entered the University of Nebraska where he received his B.S. degree which was followed by a 30-year career with IBM. In 2000, Warren, Claudia and Claudia's mother, Coral Wright, moved to Bella Vista, Ark. Coral lived with them for 11 years, and he loved and cared for Coral like she was his own mother. He was an avid golfer, started the Oniell Golfers Group and played golf three times a week until his recent illness. He was held in high regard by all, noting his great humor, positive attitude and being a "true gentleman." A Celebration of Life service will be held at Unity Church of the Ozarks, 902 SW Second St., Suite E, in Bentonville, Ark., this Saturday, June 14, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts of condolence may be sent to Hospice Circle of Life, Bentonville, or Unity Church of the Ozarks, Bentonville.
