Archie Andrew Hillis

Archie Andrew Hillis, 82, of Midwest City, Okla., formerly of Lowell, Ark., went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, June 2, 2014. Archie was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Cash, Ark., to George and Amy Hillis. Archie married Evelyn Montgomery on May 25, 1953, in Bono, Ark. Archie was a devout Christian who faithfully served God. Archie was preceded in death by his parents, George and Amy Hillis; and sisters, Faye McClure and Nona Harvey. Archie is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, Steven and wife, Kathi, and grandson, Jeremy Hillis, all of Midwest City, Okla.; sisters, Elsie Kinion of Rogers, Ark., Cindy Huffmaster and husband, Darrell, of Lowell, Ark.; his uncle, Otto Hillis of Jonesboro, Ark.; and many family members. Archie and Evelyn were longtime members of Temple Baptist Church, Rogers, Ark. Services will be held at Temple Baptist Church in Rogers at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, with burial in Bono, Ark.
