Zandra Kay Parson

Zandra Kay Parson, 75, of Fayetteville passed from this life of Monday, June 2, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born on March 7, 1939, in Huntsville to Nolan and Donna Cain. Zandra is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred L. Parson; and three brothers, Jerral "Doc" Cain, Arthur Cain and Ronney Cain. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Teena Payne of Lexington, Ky., and Brian Parson of Springdale; three sisters, Janice Swift of Springdale, Clela Burlison of Sallisaw, Okla., and Shirley Stephens of Springdale; four grandchildren, Zach Payne of Dallas, Texas, Garrett Payne of Lexington, Ky., Matthew Parson of Springdale and Blair Parson of Springdale; and one great-grandson, Cooper Payne. Zandra enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, picnics and laughing. She also had a great respect and love of our Lord and enjoyed sharing Jesus with others. She was lovingly referred to as "Zeze" by her grandchildren and she treasured spending as much time as possible with them. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Huntsville Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
