Charles Short

Charles Short, 72, died Sept. 27, 2013, in Bentonville. He was born on April 20, 1941, in Bentonville to the late Wesley T. and Marjorie (Pendergraft) Short. He was a police officer for Benton County and surrounding areas for 16 years. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his sons, Mickey Short and Wes Short, both of Bentonville, Marty Short and Michael Short, both of Carmel, Ind.; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. in Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville. A graveside service is Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
