Johnny Doodle Evans

Johnny "Doodle" Evans, 67 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at Katherines Place. He was born October 23, 1945 in McAlister, Oklahoma to Jay and Dollie Evans. He started his career and passion at a young age as a truck driver and has traveled the United States until his retirement about seven years ago. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his Father Jay Evans; two sons, Scotty Evans and wife Mary and Keith Evans and wife Amy both of Elkins; brother, Hank Evans and wife Carol of Fayetteville; sister, Donna Spears and husband Randy of Farmington; six grandchildren, Scotty, Jacob, Brandon, Ethan, Layne and Ben and several other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, with Pastor Buel Curtis officiating. Burial will be at Farmington Cemetery are under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
