James Thomas Templeton, Sr.

James Thomas Templeton Sr., 71, of Rogers passed away Sept. 17, 2013, in Rogers. He was born on March 31, 1942, to the late Homer and Anna (Stone) Templeton in Sedalia, Mo. He was an avid fisherman, drove a truck for Tyson and Shaw for 16 years, and served in the Army for three years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Homer "Pete" Templeton and Raul Templeton; and three sisters, Velma Gray, Dorothy Bryan and Marguerite Raines. Survivors include, son, James Thomas Templeton Jr, of Rogers; daughters, Carrie Voelkel, Rogers and Helen Ramos of Springdale; brother, Larry Templeton of Springdale; sisters, Flossie Pirtle of Sedalia, Mo., Mary DeHaven of Farley, Mo., and Rose Wilson of Hutchinson, Kan.; five grandchildren.
