Thelma Anne Todhunter

Thelma Anne Todhunter, age 55, of Lowell, passed away Sept. 16, 2013. Thelma was born July 2, 1958, in Odessa, Texas, to parents Luther Elmer Thomas Sr. and Mary Ople Garrett Thomas. She was united in marriage to Dewayne Todhunter in Springdale, Ark., and they enjoyed over 20 years of marriage. Thelma worked for many years as a cashier and manager in the retail industry. She enjoyed playing on the computer, making blankets and quilting, writing poems and stories and painting. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents as well as brother, Larry Dean Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Todhunter of Lowell; one son, William B. Harris and wife, Kelly, of Salado, Texas; daughters, Christina Meredith and husband, Paul Shane, of Rogers, and Mary Anne Reid of Fayetteville; brothers, Stanley Thomas and wife, Sam, of Oklahoma, Luther Thomas II of Fayetteville, Oran Thomas of Fayetteville and Finnie Thomas of Texas; sisters, Mildred Harris and husband, Randy, of Fayetteville, Nelda Jean of Rogers, Marybeth Scott of Texas, Linda May of Texas; grandchildren, William, Colton, Johnathan, Trenton, Regan and Christopher Meredith, all of Rogers, and Kaitlyn and Addyson Reid of Fayetteville, Stormy Anne and Brandon Harris of Salado, Texas, Kamaki Hickok of Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services are set for noon Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs, Ark. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
