Ruth Emma Wells Carson Rickert

Ruth Emma Wells Carson Rickert passed away Sept. 9, 2013, in Springdale, Ark. She was born April 22, 1930, in rural Benton County to Charlie Wells and Emma Lane Wells. Ruth worked as a line worker for Tyson Foods for almost 40 years at the Berry Street location. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and taking care of them in their time of need. She liked listening to Southern Gospel music and gardening. Ruth was preceded in death by her husbands, Morgan Carson and Dale Rickert. She is survived by one son, Kevin Carson of Springdale; one daughter, Paula Strachan and husband, Steve, of Lavaca, Ark.; and one sister, Edna Robbins of Bentonville. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral chapel in Springdale. There will be a graveside service on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Bluff Cemetery, with Charlie Foster officiating.
