David Wayne Musteen, 60, of Pea Ridge died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Research Medical Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., surrounded by his family and children. He was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Rogers to Jack Raymond Musteen and Pat Mae Mitchell Musteen. David, a lifelong resident of Pea Ridge, Ark., served in the Arkansas Army National Guard for seven years and was an avid gun collector, outdoor sportsman and friend to all. He is preceded in death by his father; and his sister, Margie Musteen Ford. He is survived by his mother; a son, Nathaniel Baxter Musteen and wife, Anita, of Greenwood, Mo.; a daughter, Mitzi Renae Musteen Horn and husband, Zach, of Nixa, Mo.; their mother, Sheila Snow Musteen of Bella Vista; a sister, Debbie Musteen Phillips and husband, David, of Pea Ridge, and their daughters, Leisa Still and Stephanie Stamps; three grandchildren, William Baxter, Samuel David and Emma Grace of Greenwood, Mo.; his companion, Trina Bonacker of Pea Ridge; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, with Pastor Pete Nugent and Pastor Al Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be Saturday from noon-2 p.m. before the service. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
