Raymond John Clayton

Raymond John Clayton, age 70, of Rogers Ark., was laid to eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. He was born on Oct. 31, 1942, in Manitowoc, Wis., and is the son of the late Jeannette (Schaft) and Ellis Clayton. Ray had a 35-plus year career as a manager at Publix Grocery Stores and was highly liked and respected by his peers. He was an engaging and generous person with a great sense of humor that loved to make everyone laugh. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; and three children, Andrew Clayton of Rogers, Ark., Danielle Garcia of Rogers, Ark., and John Clayton of Tampa, Fla. Ray was a proud grandfather of four grandchildren whom he loved very dearly. Other surviving family members include sister, Linda Konecny; brother, Robert Clayton; and niece, Tammy (Clayton) Heili of Manitowoc, Wis. No memorial services are being held, however flowers and considerations can be sent to Elaine Clayton at 15 Oak Bluff East, Rogers, AR 72756-8217.
