Michael Grant Wright

Michael Grant Wright, 60, of Garfield died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at his home. He was born Sept. 29, 1953, in Tulsa, Okla., to Lemoine and Wanda Wright. He was a commercial and industrial wiring journeyman electrician, and crew leader for Northwest Electric and Master Electric. He enjoyed being out in the woods deer hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger, and loved to visit with everyone and play with his grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Garfield, and is preceded in death by one brother, Gary Wright; and one sister, June Shelton. Survivors are a daughter, Kim Coles of Bentonville; two sons, Matthew Wright and wife, Siv, of Owasso, Okla., and Kendell Wright of Tulsa, Okla.; his parents, Lemoine and Wanda Wright of Garfield; two sisters, Julie Wright, and Gina Arthur and husband, Ben, all of Garfield; three brothers, JL Wright and wife, Fredia, and Jimmy Wright, all of Garfield, and Joe Wright and wife, Wendy, of Washburn; and three grandchildren. Visitation is set for Friday, Nov. 1, 1-3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Garfield, with service following at 3 p.m. and Brother Ty McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery.
