Charles Ebenezer Daggett

Charles Ebenezer "Eben" Daggett II ("The Squeeze") of Cherokee Village, Arkansas age 68, passed away on October 18, 2013. Eben was born on December 4, 1944. He is survived by his wife, Jane Chandler Daggett of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and two sons, Chandler Daggett and his wife Tawny Daggett of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Lindsey Daggett of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Lexie, John, Aiden, and Macy; sister, Amy Myren of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; stepsister, Ann Brown of Wynne, Arkansas and Lynn Taylor of Greensboro, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents John Lockwood Daggett and Eugenia Daggett Windsor. He graduated from T.A. Futrall High School, Marianna, Arkansas and went on to attend the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee and the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas. He worked for Cooper Communities for 32 years before moving to Cherokee Village, Arkansas in 1991. Shortly after his move to Cherokee Village, he founded Daggett Development Corporation and American Land Company which he was the managing partner of. He was an avid outdoorsman, whose passion was duck hunting with family and friends. He was a big supporter of Ducks Unlimited and was a past chairman of the Benton County Ducks Unlimited Chapter and received the "Distinguished Service Award". A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 2 p.m. at the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church in Cherokee Village, Arkansas.
