Bobby Gene Walk

Bobby Gene Walk, 82, of Bentonville, Ark., died Oct. 20, 2013, in Bentonville. He was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Muldrow, Okla., the son of Chauncy and Cecile Walk. He married Myrna Lee "Candy" Yates on Feb. 25, 1952, in Upland, Calif. She preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2008, in Kingman, Ariz. Mr. Walk was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict and a truck driver. Survivors are one daughter, Summer Ewalt of Bentonville, Ark.; one grandson, Sean Walker Ewalt of Bentonville, Ark.; one step-grandson, William Earl Edwards; three sisters, Kathryn JoNell VanFleet of Muldrow, Okla., Patricia Bennett of Rialto, Calif., and Sandra Hanes of Barr Nunn, Wyo.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one brother, Joseph Bascom Walk. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Okla., under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
