Shirley Westmoreland

Shirley Westmoreland, 67, of Fayetteville passed away after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. She was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Wynne, Ark., the daughter of Ray Capshaw and Shirley Gordon Capshaw. She was a member of Fayetteville Country Club, Elks Lodge and Christian Life Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Danny Capshaw. Survivors include her loving partner, Larry Terry of Fayetteville; daughter, Andrea Westmoreland and son-in-law, Matt Golub, of Dallas, Texas; mother, Shirley Capshaw of Wynne; sister, Sandy Fowler and brother-in-law, John Fowler, of Richardson, Texas; and nephew, Wade Fowler of Garland, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Sons Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Guests are invited to attend lunch afterwards at Christian Life Cathedral. The family requests that memorials in her name be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
