Norma Zoe Miller

Norma Zoe Miller, 89, of Springdale, formerly of Fairfield Bay, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013. She was born July 27, 1924, in St. Louis, Mo., to Clarence and Maggie Beard Saylor. Norma devoted her life to her Lord and the care of her family. She was an active member of the Baptist churches in the communities where she lived, and served as Sunday school teacher, director of the Women's Missionary Union and as church secretary. While living in Fairfield Bay, she was also a member of the Davis Special Questers and Toastmistresses. She was preceded in death in 1989 by her husband, William H. Miller; a son, David Miller; and three brothers, Ray, Richard and Dennis Saylor. She is survived by a son, Gregory Miller and wife, Freda, of Fayetteville, recently of Clarksville; a sister, Velma Smith of DeSoto, Mo.; four grandchildren, Dyana Robbins and husband, Chris, Donna Baker, Ryan Miller and wife, Shondra, Kimberly Schluterman and husband, Heath; and four great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Michael Robbins, Ariana Baker, Alaina Ott; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
