Jack Carlton Brady

Jack Carlton Brady, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Chester, Ill., passed away at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Highland Healthcare and Rehab Center in Bella Vista, Ark. He was born to William Dent and Pearl Ellen (nee: Gray) Brady on July 14, 1933, in Hoxie, Ark. He married Norma Jean Biesterfeld on June 8, 1955, in Hoxie, Ark. She survives. Jack was retired from General Motors, Chevrolet Motor Division where he worked for 28 years and was a zone service manager at the time of his retirement. He served in the United Sates Army during the Korean War. Survivors are wife, Norma Jean Brady of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Janet (Terry) Sutherland of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sons, Dave (Jody) Brady of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Rick (Kellie) Brady of Crystal, Minn.; two granddaughters, Blake Brady of Crystal, Minn., and Kelly (Brandon) Henry of Maple Grove, Minn.; one grandson, Bryan (Sara) Lazorik of Minnetonka, Minn.; three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Mya Henry, and Henry Lazorik; one sister, Jessie Colleen Gahr of West Memphis, Ark.; one brother, Coleman (Roberta) Brady of Sherwood, Ark.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by his parents. It was Jack's wish to be cremated. Visitation is Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Illinois. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Ill. Officiating is the Rev. Bud Bennett. Inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Ill.
