Billie Dooley

Billie Dooley of Bella Vista, Ark., departed this life on Oct. 6, 2013. She was born in Joplin, Mo., Jan. 1, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, David Dooley. Billie was a commodities broker in Joplin until moving to Bella Vista, where she worked as secretary to the manager of the Property Owners Association until her retirement. She was an avid tennis and bridge enthusiast loved reading, and was a wonderful caregiver to her mother, Edna Campbell Livingston. She is survived by two sons, Jim Dooley and wife, Kathleen, of Joplin, Mo., Kevin Dooley of Bella Vista; a granddaughter, Audrey Greer and husband, Ethan, of Joplin; one sister, Jo Bain of Bella Vista; one niece, two nephews and their families. Billie brought a lot of joy and laughter to her family and friends, and will be sorely missed. Arrangements for celebration of life will be made at a later date. A kind and loving soul. An angel on earth. A mother who gave all. A practitioner of proper grammar. A poet in life, as well as words. She yielded her spirit to its Benevolent Author.
