Dorothy Darlene Schmidt

Dorothy Darlene Schmidt, 63, of Lowell died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born March 1, 1950, in Pocahontas, Ark., to Milburn and Mary Belle Collins Cardwell. Dorothy was a sales associate at Walmart. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Benjamin Franklin Cardwell and Wilburn Cardwell. Survivors include her husband, Donald Schmidt of the home, to whom she married June 12, 1996; one son, Michael Davis and Michelle of Springdale; one brother, Art Cardwell and wife, Doris, of Springdale; two sisters, Ola Mars of Springdale and Irene Fink and husband, Jim, of Lowell; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
