Fred G. Shaffer

Fred G. Shaffer of Fayetteville, a Korean War Navy veteran, was born May 21, 1931, in Greenland and he died Oct. 2, 2013, in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Beulah J. Shaffer; baby sisters, Marilyn Julia and Margaret JoBelle; and his son, Freddy G. Shaffer Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda (Tom) Landers of Little Rock and Vicki (Frank) Ley of Worland, Wyo.; grandsons, Joshua (Molly) Shaffer of Longmont, Colo., and Matthew (Lauren) Landers of Little Rock; great-granddaughter, Addison Landers of Little Rock; brothers, Billy Earl (Irene) Shaffer of Ruidoso, N.M., and Jerry and Larry Shaffer of Fayetteville; sister, Linda (Dick) Inzer of Morrison, Colo.; mother of his children, Pat Shaffer of Worland; and many nieces and nephews.
