Betty Jane Seale

Betty Jane Seale passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born in Walters, Okla., on 28 Oct 1921 to Annie Laurie and Carl T Johnson and grew up in southern Oklahoma. She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. Maxie B Seale; her brother, Carl Lokey Johnson, and her eldest son, Gary Max Seale. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Seale and his wife Deborah of Kingsport, Tenn., and Donald Seale and his wife Marsha of Colorado Springs, Colo., along with their two daughters, Kelsey (and family) and Lesley. Betty received her BA in Home Economics from Oklahoma State University and worked as a dental assistant, prior to marrying Maxie during WWII. She then became a full-time USAF spouse raising their three sons, that all joined the USAF. Homemaking and serving the Lord were her specialties and she did an excellent job. The family was stationed in Texas, England, Michigan, Okinawa, and Oklahoma before moving to Springdale, Ark., where they settled in 1968. Betty was a longtime volunteer at Springdale Hospital and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Springdale. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held on 7 Oct 2013 at 2PM at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with Rev.
