Margaret Marie Curtsinger

Margaret Marie Curtsinger, 70, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Sept. 29, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 23, 1943, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Lewis Smith and Clara Mae Huyett Bateman. Her family moved to Prairie Grove in 1955 where she attended high school. In 1961, she married her husband of 52 years, Troy Curtsinger. They had four children with whom Margaret was very involved. She enjoyed scouting, ballgames, traveling, flowers, reading and anything crafty. She loved to cook for her family and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Troy Curtsinger; four children, Kandy Curtsinger, Barrett Curtsinger and wife, Gwen, Scott Curtsinger and wife, LaDonna, John Curtsinger and wife, Tonya, all of Prairie Grove; 10 grandchildren, Ryan, Jarrett, Shanda, Brandie, Britton, Ethan, Alexa, Dalton, Carly and Cameryn; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
