Freda Lee Reddell

Freda Lee Reddell, 82, of Fayetteville, loving wife of Jewell Reddell for 63 years, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 18, 1931, in Pindall, Ark., to E.L. and Nora Crow. She was a longtime member of Mount Comfort Church of Christ and loved her church family dearly. Freda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was a very strong woman, never giving up. She fought a long, hard battle for years with being on kidney dialysis for nine-and-a-half years and numerous surgeries and health problems. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Crow; sister, Olive Morris; and granddaughter, Angel Reddell. She is survived by her husband, Jewell Reddell of the home; daughter, Janet Guido and husband, Joe, of Fayetteville; two sons, Lendell Reddell of Tacoma, Wash., and Dr. Marlin Reddell and wife, Rhoda, of Fayetteville; one brother, Floyd Crow and wife, Louise, of Pindall, Ark.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Mount Comfort Church of Christ, with Nathan Jorgenson officiating. Burial will be at Round Mountain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Mount Comfort Church of Christ Building Fund.
