Scherry Lynn Roman, 59, of Lowell, passed from this life on Nov. 25, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born on Sept. 30, 1954, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Clarence and Penny Hancock Massey. Scherry was an incredible cook and was known for her fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. She loved animals and enjoyed traveling. She was passionate about her church, Saved By Grace. Scherry adored her family and cherished their time together. Scherry is preceded in death by her parents. Scherry is lovingly remember by her husband, Angel Roman; two sons, Mickey and his wife, Zet, Jimmy and his wife, Shawn; a daughter, Tonia Graves and her husband, Craig; siblings, Tammie Harris, Greg Massey, Doug Massey, Jeff Massey, and Joe Massey; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. A Celebration of Scherry's life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Angela Riggins and Rev. Rick Cope will be officiating.
