William Ray Harbour

William Ray Harbour, 80, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Nov. 18, 2013, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. Ray was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Norman, Ark., to William and Ollie Dixon Harbour. Ray was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy. He was a programmer analyst for Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville, Okla., for 30 years until his retirement. Ray was an avid sportsman, a member of FPMC bowling and softball teams, and coached Little League and Pony League baseball teams. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bartlesville, Okla. Ray is predeceased by his parents; a son, Kenneth Dean Harbour; and sister, Lola Wayne Cooper. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Zeldene Bohannon Harbour. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Wayne Ray Harbour and his wife, Sheri, of Carrollton, Texas; his twin brother, Fay Harbour of Bartlesville, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Lakeview Baptist Church, Cave Springs, with the Rev. Johnny Harp officiating. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville.
