Lena Ann Moody Morrison 78, of Rogers died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 18, 1935, in Anniston, Mo., the daughter of the late William Otis Moody and Anna Genevieve Zilfro Moody. Lena was a wonderful friend and mother. She loved to play the guitar and sing with her family around the kitchen table and enjoyed watching her family play softball with the Rogers Softball league. She loved her grandchildren and was a great grandmother. At the time of her death she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3031, Wallis Witcher in Rogers, Ark. She was an advocate and fan of the Rogers Mounties Sports and Music Programs, in support of her grandchildren who participated in many activities. Survivors include her children, Connie C. Fields of Smithfield, Pa., William Alden Cogdill of Las Cruces N.M., Michael Hunsperger and wife Shellie of Murphysboro, Ill., Kathy Cogdill Tobey and husband Jerry, and Kennith Dale Cogdill and wife Tracy, all of Rogers; two sisters; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin D. Morrison; sister Marie Moody Bible; and a brother William Joseph Moody. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Chaplain Mike Ford.
