Jay Chan Rasmy

Jay Chan Rasmy, 58, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, in Springdale. He was born June 1, 1955, in Vientiane, Laos, to Khone and Pieu Ketkeorasmy. He was a production line worker at Dayco and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Dora Rasmy; one son, Meko Ketkeorasmy of Springdale, Ark.; three daughters, Mona Nguyen of Rogers, Ark., Sharon Ketkeorasmy, Monica Ketkeorasmy, both of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Phoupet Ketkeorasmy of New Britain, Conn., Ammarinh Ketkeorasmy of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Hompheng Ketkeorasmy of Laos; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with The Rev. Max Kongmany officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
