Victor Richard "Poppy" Juarez, 97, of Avoca, Ark., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born Dec. 23, 1915, in Arkalon, Kan., to Milton King Juarez and Isabel Medina Juarez. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a longtime member of Trinity Apostolic Faith Church in Cave Springs, Ark., and loved his wife and family with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Victor is survived by his precious wife of 73 years, Addie Copeland Juarez; two daughters, Patricia Reynolds and husband, Jim, of Dalhart, Texas, Ramona Laramore and husband, Kenny, of Rogers, Ark.; and one brother. He was "Poppy" to five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Trinity Apostolic Faith Church in Cave Springs with the Rev. Alvin Bushman, the Rev. Randy Dalton and the Rev. Jacob Waggoner officiating. Burial will be at 2:00pm, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville with full military honors.
