Freddie "Earl" Eaton

Freddie "Earl" Eaton, 82, of Springdale, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Weathers, Ark., to William and Cordelia McFarland Eaton. Earl served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy in 2003; a son, Freddie Dwayne Eaton in 2011; three sisters, Eula Trolinger, Dorothy Eaton and Dovie Cook; and two brothers, Oris Eaton and Vernon Eaton. He is survived by three children, Doug Eaton (Sim) of Garden City, Mo., Glenda Ardemagni (Larry) of Tontitown and Donna Bickerton of Van Buren; his twin sister, Merle Cole of Springdale; nine grandchildren, Ernie Woodard (Kim), Hunter Ardemagni, Shelby Eaton, Nick Eaton, Cindy Eaton, Ashley James (Frank), Jessie Bickerton, Eric Bickerton and Alex Bickerton; and four great-grandchildren, Lydia Bickerton, Elizabeth James, Cassidy James and Brogan Reyes. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at Burkshed Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home.
