Barbara Jean Center

Barbara Jean Center, 75, of Huntsville, Ark., died May 12, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Ark. Born Oct. 6, 1937, in Strang, Okla., she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Meadows and Maude Walker Meadows. She was raised in Colcord, and lived in Owasso for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Winslow, Ark. She was preceded in death by two husbands; one sister, Geraldine Jackson; and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Guthrie of Muskogee, Okla., and Sandra Jean Davis of Fayetteville, Ark,; three sons, Michael D. Kindle and life partner, Orland Dale Hilton of Tulsa, Okla., Steven Carl Kindle and wife, Deborah, of Columbia, Mo., and Daniel Wade Kindle and wife, Sheila Perez-Kindle, of Denver, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Earnest Joe Meadows and wife, Claretta, of Jay, Okla.; and her significant other, Gerald Johnson of Huntsville, Ark. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery, Colcord, Okla.
