Bonifacio Bon Manlapig

Dr. Bonifacio "Bon" Manlapig, 83, of Farmington was born May 25, 1929, and passed away peacefully on the evening of May 6 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Rosital; his children, Rene, Rowena and Girl; his grandson, Christian; his stepchildren, Zina and Scott; and his step-grandchildren, Razmus, Max and August. Bon was born in the Phillippines and later emigrated to the United States, where he worked as a doctor of radiology at Chicago Community Hospital. After retiring from a successful medical career, he moved to Northwest Arkansas. Bon enjoyed traveling with his wife and visiting family around the world, although he loved to spend time working around his home and shop in Farmington. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
