Winnie A. "Gussie" Hultz

Winnie A. "Gussie" Hultz, 98, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Born Nov. 18, 1914, in Provo, Ark., she was the daughter of Jethro and Lena Wynn Rush. Gussie married Elza Hultz in Leveland, Texas, in 1955. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Ark. Gussie worked for many years with her husband and also at Wasson Funeral Home. She was a member of the Bridge Club. Gussie was an avid bowler, golfer and gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Glen Worthington; granddaughter, Sandi Worthington Truitt; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include daughters-in-law, Sally Melson and husband, Eddie, and Wanda Rogers and husband, Charlie, all of Siloam Springs, Ark.; grandson, Rex Worthington and wife, Judy, of Fayetteville, Ark.; granddaughter, Christy Sutton and husband, John, of Elm Springs, Ark.; grandson-in-law, Steve Truitt of Siloam Springs, Ark.; four great-grandchildren; eight-great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Dr. Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
