Vernon Williams

Vernon Williams, 81, of Hindsville, Ark., died March 29, 2013, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Jan. 12, 1932, at Dripping Springs, Ark., the son of Squire Bruton and Nan Neff Williams. He was a carpenter and a member of the Hartwell Church of Christ. Survivors include: his wife, Joie Easterling Williams of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tammy Williams of Hindsville, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Tom Willcutt of Fayetteville, Ark.; one grandson, Austin Willcutt of Fayetteville, Ark., and two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Maggie and Sam Davidson of Berryville, Ark., and JoBeth and Travis Evans of Huntsville, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Ronnie Wade, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Rick Gurley, Justin Usrey, Marty Edens, Danny Bowlin, Craig Williams and Lyndall Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be: C. G. Mason, Butch Anderson, Frank Weaver, Kenny Bailey, J. D. Lyman, Dwight Steele and Cliff Wood. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
