Gene 'Woody' Wilson

Gene "Woody" Wilson, 52, died March 26, 2013, in Rogers. He was born on Nov. 7, 1960, in Yucaipa, Calif., to Boyce and Marjorie (Warner) Wilson of Rogers. He was the loving husband of Pamela (McMurray) Draper Wilson of Gateway. Woody is a three-year survivor of cancer. He loved fishing, hunting, riding rail-buggies and listening to all kinds of music, especially Molly Hatchet. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and never knew a stranger. Woody is survived by his parents of Rogers; wife, Pam; daughters, Tara Meeks, and Jennifer and husband, Robert Stewart, all of Gateway; brothers, Charles Wilson of Neosho, Mo., and Richard Wilson of Bentonville; sisters, Karen Granado and Janelle Wilson, both of Rogers; grandchildren, Brandon Stewart, Nicholas Frias, Makayla Palumbo, Colton Perkins and Konner Meeks; and his loyal friend, Henry. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 29, 2013, in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow. Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
