Danny Richard Pennington

Danny Richard Pennington, 66, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. Danny was born on June 5, 1946, in Iowa City, Iowa, a son of Ray Pennington and Verna Sears Pennington. Danny was a resident of the Walnut Grove Nursing Home in Springdale who loved to read the Bible, having read it through many times; he liked people and enjoyed watching sports. He is survived by one brother, Charles Pennington of Marshalltown, Iowa, and two sisters, Audrey Dooley of Springdale, Ark., and Glennys Steward of Branson, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother David Pennington. Cremation arrangements are by the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
